Punjabi film Director and Producer Smeep Kang has announced the release date of  his first Short series named ‘ Divorce Dede Darling ‘ recently. After the director made it official, many punjabi celebrities came in his support and extended their warm and best wishes for his new and first OTT project release shortly . Many veteran and new actors & celebrities like Gippy Grewal, Binnu Dhillon, Babbal Rai, Jaswinder Bhalla, Dev kharaud, Upasana Singh, Gurpreet Ghuggi , Rubina Bajwa, Pukhraj Bhalla , Rana Ranbir, etc. congratulated him for this grand project . The actors took to their social media platforms to share  the poster of ‘ Divorce Dede Darling’  in their stories for which the director extended his thanksgiving  back to them via those Facebook and Instagram stories. Even the name of renowned Punjabi director Jagdeep S Aulakh was in this list. If we talk about this short series, this short series is based on the life of a disputatious husband- wife and their funny confrontations. The series is 3 minutes long each,  having 7 episodes  and is  directed by his Son kairav Kang who will make debut as a director with this web series. Even Smeep and his wife Parneet Kang sarkaria will be seen acting as centre characters of this short series. The series will stream from  14th August 2021 , every Saturday on his official YouTube channel. Apart from this short series, his first web series ki Banu Punia Da is also around the corner whose release is expected to happen in September- October of the current year.
