After the number of cases declined in Punjab, the Punjab government lifted the restrictions and gave some relaxations to various sectors in which one of them was Punjabi film industry whose shootings were given a green flag to go after 15 June , 2021. This marked the resumption of the many movie shootings which were halted before the lock down or were supposed to start from the beginning . A list of a few of those is given below which you will see in no time on the silver screen.
- Fuffadji
The shooting of the movie was started after the restrictions were lifted. The movie is directed by Pankaj Batra and is produced by Mashkoor Alam along with zee studio Punjabi and K Kumar Studios. It is a Binnu Dhillon, Gurnam Bhullar and Jassie Gill starrer movie.
2. Nishana
The shooting of the movie was resumed from 15 June and is completed successfully by now. This is Sukhminder dhanjal directorial and Kulwinder billa, Guggu gill, Vikramjeet virk starrer movie.
3. Fer Mamla Gadbad Hai
The shoot of the movie was started in March 2021 before lock down but was halted mid-way and now after the government resumes for the movie shooting , the shooting of the movie has been wrapped up positively . The movie is a Ninja, Preet Kamal Starrer comedy drama movie directed by Sagar S Sharma.
4. Haterz
The movie is s Ranjiv Singla productions movie and which will be directed by ‘15 Lakh Kado Aauga’ fame Manpreet Brar. The shoot of the movie was started on 4 July, 2021 and is casting Pukhraj Bhalla, YJKD fame Amrit Amby, Malkeet Rauni, Karam Kaur and many more.
Ki Banu Punia Da is a web series which is produced and directed by Smeep Kang. The post production work of the web series has been resumed now and the web series is expected to release in September . It stars Babbal Rai , Jaswinder Bhalla , Arsh Kahlon and Sairakshita in lead roles.
